Basic information

We have organized expeditions to the most beautiful areas of our planet for more than 10 years. Till the end of the year 2007 we concentrated only on organizing expeditions for closed groups of participants. However, we decided to present our offer to the wide public with regard to the growing demand for ecotourism as a phenomenon of the beginning of the 21st century. On 1 January, 2008 we are going to start our activities with the name of Albatros Travel and Expeditions in the Czech Republic as well as in the whole range of the European Union.

A team of experienced employees takes care of the organization of our expeditions under the supervision of a mastermind and a biologist with a lot of experience from the terrain. Every group is accompanied by one of us. A local guide then joins the group in each of the visited countries. He/she is very well acquinted with the local conditions and therefore his help is very useful to us.

According to the Czech law, Albatros Travel and Expeditions has been insured against bankruptcy with the Generalli insurance company (insurance contract No. 17 107 000 50). Nevertheless, our travel agency is trying hard to avoid all possible complications. Each traveller will obtain a return ticket right at the departure which helps us to guarantee your smooth return from the expedition. Moreover, in every country we cooperate with a partner travel agency which is bound by contract to help our travellers in all unexpected situations.
