Chimpanzee, baboon, guereza, guenon, porcupine, mogoose, ground squirrels, many bird species – crested eagle, beeeaters, Guinea fowl, touraco, parrots, starlings, in the lake 193 fish species – 90 % endemical.

Description

1 613 km2, mountain range around the Mahale mountain (773 – 2 460 m), forested savannah, lowland forest, mountain rain forest.
