753 km2; National park altitude: 1 830 – 5 895 m - massif of the Kilimanjaro mountain - giant stratovolcano consisting of three extinct volcanoes. Typical ecosystems: mountain forest (temperate zone forest), alpine biotopes, volcanic biotopes, mountain moorland, crater lake. Five different vegetation zones.

Possible activities

Relatively easy ascend to the summit - 6 different tracks. Many trekking paths in lower elevations. World's highest summit that can be climbed without technical equipment.
