Characteristic

979 km2; Flat area of lowlands plains. Rounded rocky outcrops and monolites in a few places in the park. Typical ecosystems: secondary dry forest mixed with dense bushes, sea coast biotopes, small freshwater or brackish lagoons. Only small patches of grasslands, mangroves and sand dunes.
