Southern part of Central Chile; 46 kilometers east of Puerto Montt

Characteristic
393 km2; Mountainous region reaching a sea coast at the south. The altitudes of the park's hills range from 1,200 to 1,500 m. It boasts deep valleys with almost vertical mountain sides and about 50 lakes and natural ponds. Typical ecosystem - temperate zone forests (coniferous and mixed) covering about 200 km2 of the total park area up to the altitude of 900 m; alpine zone biotopes above it.

Myrtales - Onagraceae: Hardy Fuchsia
Monocotyledons:
Liliales - Greenbriers (Smilacaceae): Rough Bindweed (Smilax aspera)
- Philesiaceae: Lapageria rosea (Chile national flower)
Possible activities

Perfect conditions for walking and trekking in all areas of the park. The park has a network of trails and shelters for overnight stay.
Wildlife observation, boat trips, sport fishing
